Remoulade Sauce

This traditional French sauce is really just a souped-up tartar that also makes a nice dressing for cold poached lobster, shrimp, or beef filet. Use any leftovers to whip up a classic celery root salad or to dress your favorite coleslaw recipe. The dressing can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Ingredients

  • 1 cupFresh Mayonnaise或高质量的公关epared mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons choppedcornichonsor good-quality gherkins

  • 2 tablespoons chopped freshtarragon
  • Freshly groundblack pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, cornichons, capers, tarragon and pepper. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
